Foam_3h: Linus Bill - The Greatest Hits Vol. 1

Amsterdam's Foam_Photography Museum presents a new exhibition featuring work by Swiss photographer Linus Bill. Foam_3h: Linus Bill - The Greatest Hits Vol. 1 runs until 2 June 2010.

Linus Bill chooses not to live by standard photographic rules, he snaps anything and everything that makes its way into his viewfinder. Through his lens, colour and form become dynamic - he alters the scale and form of his subjects to create fresh images.

Foam exclusive

The exhibition has been especially created for Foam and sees Bill plaster every inch of the museum with his work. But, as often is the case with Linus Bill, this shouldn't be taken too literally. In fact, a scale-model of the museum has been created, and Bill's work is showcased within this model.

The Greatest Hits Vol. 1 is presented on a scale of 1:10 and includes a series of more than twenty photos and a selection of sculptures. The exhibition comprises new, abstract work which is complimented by older works.
