Fernando, Daisy en Dina - Saudade do futuro

Daisy Correia (Portugal-Netherlands) and Dina Medina (Cape Verde, Netherlands) are Fernando's pride and joy. They represent the new generation singers, who, by the duality of their different cultural backgrounds, create their own identity. By using both identities, this young generation of artists, produce a new, unprecedented sound.

Nostalgia for the future
Lameirinhas tempts his two young talents to show themselves to the audience and surprise them with their contemporary sound . Familiar and new melt together in one musical programme, 'Saudade do Futuro' (nostalgia for the future). Fernando Lameirinhas no longer needs an introduction. His music has developed into a unique and intense blend of styles that touches the heart. He played in almost all theatres in the Netherlands, worked with big names from home and abroad and played in a sold out Carré. Daisy Correia is an upcoming musical talent, already voted Serious Talent by 3FM. In May 2009 she released her first Fado album. Dina Medina has mainly concentrated on the Cape Verdian music style Morna. She also has her own band, Splash!, with which she tours internationally.
