El Pino & The Volunteers

El Pino - by Marc Nolte
After a couple of years off the radar, David Pino and his Rotterdam-based band bounced back with their second studio album The Long Lost Art of Becoming Invisible in the tail-end of 2009. Head to the Vondelpark Open Air Theatre on 1 August to catch El Pino & The Volunteers perform for free!

From punk to pop

Their latest offering chimes of anonymity and change, the pub, hope and desperation, love and eternity. What began life as a side project to keep David Pino's punk rock forays company has grown into a confident band producing first-class indie-pop gems.

Schradinova

Amsterdam-born singer-songwriter starlet Schradinova (aka Janne Schra) supports El Pino & The Volunteers at this unique open-air performance. Formerly the vocal driving force behind Room Eleven, Janne launched her solo career when the band split in January 2010.
