Eddie Izzard
British stand-up comedian and actor Eddie Izzard comes to the Heineken Music Hall (13 & 14 November) in his one man show Stripped. An outpouring of thoughts and ideas, jokes and nonsensical whimsy, Izzard's trademark stand-up style is his stream of consciousness banter full of crossroads and tangents, the old school comedian art of riffing.

For Stripped he's targeting life and civilisation as a whole, stripping back what we're doing here on earth and the possibilities of a God existing.
On the road
Having already performed this show on tour throughout the UK in 2008 before a 23 night stint at London's Lyric Theatre that resulted in a DVD, it's safe to say Izzard has thought out his routine and arguments. Nevertheless the always topical comedian will no doubt cover all the social and political issues we face in 2009.
