The Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam welcomes the mighty Dave Matthews Band back to the stage on 3 March 2010.

Nineties beginnings
The band from Virginia in the US of A have been selling records and filling venues with their winning combination of rock, blues and jazz since 1991. The band was formed after lead singer/guitarist Dave Matthews grouped together a band from the local jazz scene to record a demo of some of his own material.

The chemistry between the band was so strong that they decided to make a career of it together, and as they say - after multiple hit albums and the switch from performances at unassuming local venues to sold-out stadiums - the rest is history.

The Space Between
Following a mountain of successful albums, The Dave Matthews Band shot to fame in the Netherlands with their 2001 album Everyday, which included the hit 'The Space Between'. Their seventh studio album Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King was released in 2009.
