The Jewish Historical Museum in Amsterdam presents Count Your Blessings. This family exhibition showcasing magical paintings runs from 14 February to 24 May 2010.
French born Eliyahu Sidi produces imaginative works based on an endless variety of subjects, including Hebrew letters, blessings, the story of Exodus and the Song of Soloman. Sidi integrates Hebrew texts into his paintings and illustrations, continuing an age-old tradition begun by Jewish artists in Jerusalem.
