Missa Solemnis

Harnoncourt conducts as The Netherlands Radio Choir and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra perform what has come to be known as the 'Mount Everest of religious choral music'. Written in the same period as his Ninth Symphony and Diabelli Variations, Beethoven's Missa Solemnis is renowned for demanding the utmost of the vocalists.
