Asko|Schönberg - Danish Snow


The Dane Hans Abrahamsen reworked canons by Bach, transforming them into meditative contemplations of time and space by using minimalist repetition: Schnee. In contrast, his interpretation of Carl Nielsen's last symphony, originally written in the 20s, is light, spirited and humorous.
