Appelsap ('Apple Juice') represents everything that's fresh. Spend the day of Sunday, 31 July in the Oosterpark's fresh air, with a refreshing drink or two and a host of fresh hip-hop acts (sadly we can't promise the Fresh Prince of Bel Air), plus crate-loads of DJs.
Juicy line-up
Performers already announced include Random Axe (a collaboration between US hip-hop eminences Black Milk, Sean Price and Guilty Simpson), Dutch hip-hop heroes Hef, Zo Moeilijk & RBDjan, new trio SLB Money Gang and British soul singer Ben Westbeech. There'll also be jazzy flavours from Electric Wire Hustle and a helping of funky electro soul by home-grown singer and producer Benny Sings.
Electified hip-hop
In addition, this year Appelsap is collaborating with Colors and Viral Radio to electrify the hip-hop with performances by Lando Kal (Lazer Sword), Machine Drum, The Blessings and DJs Cinnaman and Juha. Combine all that with the traditionally enthusiastic Appelsap crowd and it looks like the Oosterpark's amps and vibe will once again be cranked up to 11 for this very special day at the park. Do: put on those dancing trainers. Do not: pack the picnic basket. There'll be no time for sitting down.
