Once a month - the last Friday, to be precise - the Melkweg is the place to be for anime lovers. Exclusive previews of new DVD releases from the wondrous world of Japanese animation are screened in collaboration with film distribution company Filmfreak.

Sense of adventure required

And when they say 'exclusive', they mean it, too: the films are always shown before the official DVD release date. Nowhere else in the Netherlands gives the genre that kind of attention on such a regular level. All this exclusivity has a price, however: the title of the film always remains a secret until the screening. But what would an anime fan be without a little adventurousness?
