Ahirkapi Büyük Roman Oorkestrasi

Between the Black Sea, the Aegean Sea and the Sea of Marmara lies Thrace. This historically and culturally rich area was once attached to the Balkans. It is therefore not surprising that the largest gypsy orchestra of Turkey comes from Ahirkapi, in the Turkish part of Thrace. Despite its young history, the twelve-man Ahirkapi Büyük Roman Orkestrasi, ABRO in short, has performed at numerous festivals and played with many great names of Balkan music, including Goran Bregovic.
