After Trio A

After Trio A
This dance piece is based on Yvonne Rainer's minimalist choreography Trio A (1966) and No Manifesto (1965). Trio A reduced dance to its essence and is seen as one of the starting points of postmodern dance. Yvonne Rainer took the then current dance conventions and the perception of the body to a whole other level, with the text 'dance is hard to see'.

After Trio A
After Trio A by Andrea Bozic is not a reconstruction, but a dialogue with Trio A. Two dancers are asked to learn one part of the original dance, live on stage, without prior knowledge.
