5 Days Off

Amsterdam goes electro
5 Days Off storms into Amsterdam on 3 - 7 March to present an entrancing cross-section of the latest in electronic music.

Big names
The festival features a host of international artists and the latest talent in the fields of electronic music, art and media art with events being held in the Melkweg, Paradiso and the Netherlands Institute for Media Art.

Explosive line-up
This year the line-up includes the likes of Hot Chip (pictured), The Bloody Beetroots, The Memory Tapes, Vitalic, Drums of Death, Joost van Bellen, Feadz, Fake Blood, Groove Armada and loads more.

Minimalistic communication
Also look out for Minilogue - the Swedish progressive house/minimal techno music project are dead-set to raise the roof on Sunday night at the Melkweg. Their name is derived from minimal, the music style and dialogue, which refers to music as a form of communication.

All the action
So take a hint from Steve Tyler and don't miss a thing by getting your hands on a passepartout for a measly 70 euros (exc. admin costs). And be sure to check out the special exhibition during the event at the Netherlands Media Art Institute.
