Amsterdam launches international portal website

As of 20 January 2009, visitors, residents, investors and industry, have Amsterdam at the click of their fingertips.

The City of Amsterdam, Amsterdam Partners, Amsterdam Tourism & Convention Board (ATCB), Amsterdams Uitburo (AUB), amsterdam inbusiness, and the Expatcenter combined forces a year and a half ago to create what is today the most comprehensive international website on Amsterdam: iamsterdam.com.

A city connected

The goal of iamsterdam.com is to create a unique connection between the individual and the city of Amsterdam, emphasizing the core values of the city: creativity, innovation and spirit of commerce.

Residents, visitors and industry can now gather all the information they need to take advantage of everything Amsterdam has to offer! 

Iamsterdam.com provides official city information, news and features concerning the Amsterdam region for visitors, residents, and businesses. Moreover, the website offers essential and practical information on subjects such as living, working, public transportation, health, finances, education and entertainment. The daily cultural agenda offers a complete take on events and happenings in Amsterdam.

The January release was a soft launch, allowing the web team to further fine-tune and develop the site, and to implement some exciting new features. Iamsterdam.com has four sections: Visiting, Living, Business and What’s on.
