The new I amsterdam mobile City Guide helps you find all the top restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, accommodation, museums and must-see sights, without those pesky roaming costs. You'll also find the location of free WiFi spots - an essential for the connected traveller!
Amsterdam guide now available for iPhone and iTouch
Developed for visitors and residents, the City Guide provides information on renowned museums and attractions as well as insider tips on Amsterdam markets, boutiques, cafés and cinemas. The application offers offline maps with a GPS-plotting search for locations (‘Near Me’), a feature that avoids roaming costs for users from abroad.
Download the iPhone version of the City Guide from the iTunes App Store or search for "I amsterdam" in the App Store app on your device. The guide is also available for JAVA-based and Blackberry phones at Iamsterdam.com. Getting around Amsterdam has never been this easy!

The innovative application was presented at the mobile app conference iCE Amsterdam in the presence of deputy mayor of the City of Amsterdam, Mr Lodewijk Asscher on 26 November 2009. On that same day it was offered to delegates of Eurobest, international advertising festival. Watch video.
The mobile City Guide guide was developed by Amsterdam-based company Xs2theworld. Offering online city guides is part of Amsterdam’s greater digital city marketing strategy.
