Europe's conference on apps, mobile platforms and strategies comes to Amsterdam's Westergasfabriek on 26 & 27 November. Speakers include the co-creator of Twitter and developer of the Obama08 app. An app development day precedes the event on 25 November.
iCE Europe Conference
Over 26 & 27 November the iCE (Challenge Europe) Conference comes to Amsterdam's Westergasfabriek. The conference aims to highlight the benefits, potential and strategies of smart phone (ie iPhone, Android, HTC etc) applications for both businesses and customers, and how apps will shape the future of communication.
Pocket rockets
Apple's app store has sky-rocketed with over two billion apps sold of more than the 100,000 available while the developments in smart phone technology and information distribution continue to grow as a useful tool for marketing.
App-ly yourself
With over 30 international speakers, among which are 14 seasoned US developers of Apps for iPhone and Android, the audience will learn how to produce, market and sell apps.
Attendees of the conference will also learn about mobile strategies for both big business and non-profit world with the impending smart phone revolution.
Development camp
On Wednesday 25 November a pre-conference workshop day boasting a iPhoneDevCamp will help give the background required for going into the following days.
Events hosted by Dom Sagolla, Mike Lee, Joe Pezzillo and Jonathon Wight - creators of Twitter, the Obama08 app as well as apps for Starbucks, Zipcar and Wholefoods.
Developers, designers, consultants, publishers of apps, entrepreneurs and strategy directors will all benefit greatly from the iCE Conference.
iCE Award
To recognise the achievements of the developers, creators and designers of apps, each delegate to the conference can enter a product they've published, produced, developed or co-developed. Using a people's choice system, visitors at participating websites and blogs can rank their favourites, selected on usability, originality, performance, technology integration and adoption.
