The Zevenlandenhuizen ('Seven Countries Houses') in the Roemer Visscherstraat were built in 1894. It is a row of seven dwellings, with each house representing an architectural style from another European country. Commissioned by Amsterdam philanthropist Sam van Eeghen, the houses were designed by architect Tjeerd Kuipers.
