Wooden Houses
Amsterdam was once full of wooden houses. They are practically all gone. There are only two wooden houses left in Amsterdam. One is at Zeedijk 1 (c.1550) and the other at Begijnhof 34 (c. 425). The latter is the oldest house of the town.
