The Werkspoormuseum in Amsterdam is owned by the Stork concern. The beautiful building in which the museum is located, serves as a reception, and meeting room for Stork. The museum serves as a venue to host guests and hold meetings, conferences and receptions while enjoying the special ambiance.

Ropeyard Museum
The Werkspoormuseum is designed as an industrial museum. It is located on the island of Oostenburg, in part of the former ropeyards. These belonged to the Dutch East India Company and to the Dutch Admiralty. The ropeyards stretched down to the River IJ and were about 500 metres long, the usual length for ship's ropes.

Industrial Past
The Werkspoormuseum building dates back to 1660. On the ground floor there is an exhibition of paintings, furniture and other items connected with the Dutch East India Company .On the first floor the emphasis is on Werkspoor's industrial past. The building houses the Lijnbaanzaal, the Compagniezaal, the Pronkkamer and the Museum.
