Walls is an art gallery located on the Prinsengracht in the centre of Amsterdam. Thanks to its high ceilings and good lighting, the space is perfect for exhibiting all kinds of art. The gallery presents a new exhibition every two months, showing the work of young and promising (inter)national artists. Walls selects the artists according to a number of criteria, such as an academic background, originality and oeuvre.
Walls wants to unite young artists and (starting) art buyers and therefore works with a concept that is unique in the Netherlands: artists can rent part of a wall in the gallery. In exchange, the artists don’t pay any commission to the gallery. This new approach to exhibiting art gives artists the opportunity to decide for themselves how much space they want to rent and how many exhibitions they want to participate in. For the first time there is a gallery that reduces the boundaries between artists and art buyers. Buying a unique piece of art is now more accessible than ever!

- Monday and Tuesday, by appointment only
