In the morning, you will visit "De Zaanse Schans", a picturesque windmill village that combines an enormous variety of windmills and green timbered houses (visit to a clog maker). On the way to the world famous fishing villages of Volendam and Marken you visit a typical Dutch farmhouse where cheese still is being made in the traditional way. In the afternoon, you will visit the city of Delft, a well preserved town steeped in history (visit to a Delft Blue pottery factory). Then on to The Hague, where you will pass the Houses of Parliament and the Peace Palace. You will also pay a visit to the miniature town of Madurodam and return to Amsterdam via the North Sea resort of Scheveningen with its silvery beaches and fishing harbours.
