This permanent beach in Amsterdam is located near the Houthavens in the borough Westerpark. There's a wide beach of 20.000 square metres offering a panoramic view on the water of the IJmeer. Locals as well as visitors from outside Amsterdam will feel at ease at this sandy beach, where you can laze in a hammock or a bean-bag, drink a cocktail, eat some tapas or play beach volleyball with your friends or colleagues. No swimming though.
