SIERAAD Art Fair draws a record number of visitors and participants each year. Held in the spectacular former gasholder building in the Culture Park Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam, it is the only specialised international fair where goldsmiths and jewellery designers show and sell their work directly to the public.
From traditional to unconventional, from precious stones and metals to synthetics and felt, SIERAAD Art Fair showcases a whole range of contemporary jewellery. The focus of SIERAAD is on the individual: on the artist who has full freedom to choose what they present and on the visitor who has an opportunity to wear a piece of art they feel connected with and know what inspired the artist to create it.
The exhibition of entries for the international New Traditional Jewellery design contest, part of the SIERAAD Art Fair, is the heart of the event. The four-day fair includes several special exhibitions and jewellery shows.
