Hotel Piet Hein

Hotel Piet Hein is a three star hotel on the Vondelpark, near the Leidseplein. The hotel is about 300 yards from the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum and the Concertgebouw. The shopping street P.C. Hooftstraat is within walking distance. In 2002, the hotel was entirely renovated and refurnished. The hotel has a nautical theme.

A beautiful garden lies at the rear of the hotel. In summertime this is a peaceful spot to enjoy a drink. In the Piet Hein hotel you spend the night in comfortable rooms, that have a nautical atmosphere. The rooms are equipped with a shower and/or bath and a safe amongst other things.

Every morning between 07:30 and 11:00 h. an extensive breakfast buffet is served in the nicely decorated breakfast restaurant. There are several cosy restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel, where you can enjoy a nice lunch or dinner. When you get back to the hotel you can have a drink in the lounge bar, which is open until 01:00 h. It is also possible to watch some telly or read a magazine here.
