Originally built in 1896, De L'Europe is located in the heart of Amsterdam opposite Munt Tower, overlooking the Amstel River. Executive Chef Richard van Oostenbrugge is responsible for each of the restaurants, lounges and seven private dining and event rooms at hotel De L'Europe; Stephan van Tilburg is the hotel’s Director of Food & Beverage. A hub of haute cuisine, the myriad dining options offers something special for demanding gourmands any time day or night. As a team they oversee the two restaurants: Bord'Eau and Hoofdstad Brasserie, the lounge options are: Promenade, Het Terras and Freddy's Bar. Rooms
De L'Europe features 111 rooms, including 69 rooms and 42 suites. Both the Dutch Masters Wing and the Rondeel building; varying from luxurious single and double rooms to a romantic bridal suite, junior suites and suites complete with sitting room and separate bedroom. There is also a two-level penthouse suite that offers a magnificent view of the Amstel River. The majority of the rooms have connecting doors and can be converted into a two-room unit. Ideal for families with small children or large parties.
