In Holland there are many opportunities to benefit from Tax Free Shopping, more than 4500 retail outlets are offering the service. The affiliated stores are displaying the Tax Free Shopping logo, and helpful staff will guide you through the process.

You pay 15,97% VAT on the purchases you make, and the VAT is included in the price. All visitors residing outside of the European Union are entitled to claim back the tax. If you spend more than €50,00 in one store in one day, always ask for your Global Blue Cheque.

The goods need to be exported within three months plus the month of purchase.

Example: If you make your purchases on April 10th, you must leave the country no later than July 31st.

After deduction of the handling expenses, you will receive a refund of up to 13,75% of the purchase price. Global Blue offers you several refund methods. Immediate cash, direct crediting to a chosen credit card or Dutch bank account, or bank cheque sent to a chosen address.
