The Amsterdam Diamond Museum (Diamant Museum) takes you on a journey that began 3 billion years ago, 200 kilometres under the surface of the earth, and which ends with the diamond ring on your finger. Learn more about Amsterdam, City of Diamonds - a diamond centre for more than four centuries.


Brilliant Beauties
Along the way you will find out about the carbon atom, meet specialists who transform a rough stone into a sparkling jewel and see the smallest brilliant diamond in the world! You'll learn how to distinguish between a real and an imitation diamond and finally, you'll enter the largest diamond where stars encircle you.

Changing displays
In addition to the permanent collection called Brilliant Beauties, the Diamond Museum also has interesting temporary exhibitions.
