Delft, The Hague and Madurodam 5,5 hours

Damrak 34
1012 LK AMSTERDAM
Neighbourhood: Dam

This afternoon excursion starts at the well-preserved town of Delft, where the famous painter Johannes Vermeer was born. Delft also has a strong association with the Dutch royal family, but it became really world famous because of the ceramic industry.

Ceramic
As early as the 17th Century, Delft had strong trade connections with China, which explained the enormous number of ceramic factories by that time. Only a few are still in existence, and of course you will visit one of them.

The Hague
After a short photo stop in the beautiful town centre of Delft, we will continue to The Hague, home of the Dutch government. During an extensive city tour, you will pass the Houses of Parliament, the Peace Palace, which holds the International Court of Justice and many other interesting sites. The last stop will be at the miniature town of Madurodam, where you’ll have time to see all the highlights of The Netherlands on small scale.

All entrance fees are included.
