De Stoelenwinkel is tucked away on a quiet canal in the city centre. There are unexpected discoveries to be made in this shop full of second hand designer chairs. There are original Eames chairs by Herman Miller and the crate chair by Gerrit Rietveld as well as contemporary designs by Fritz Hansen. The real bargains are in the basement: chairs that are neither quite so beautiful nor unique or chairs that still need a bit of restoration.
