Brix Food ’N Drinx in the Wolvenstraat has a contemporary design decor. The brick (brix!) walls have been stripped down, the furniture is modern and at the back are suede settees in a space where old film classics are projected. You can get small starters such as Peking duck pancakes, oysters and beef sashimi. Eating yourself silly isn’t what Brix is about, though: here you come for the atmosphere, the music and the drinking. On Fridays, the jazzy sounds are selected by a deejay and several evenings in the week they have live bands.
