Beach IJmuiden aan Zee

IJmuiden aan Zee has an extraordinarily wide beach with four pavilions which are open throughout the year. The Seaport Marina provides direct access to the sea and offers many facilities like restaurants, shops and a trampoline centre.

There are many opportunities for wind and water sports both on the beach and in the sea: (kite)surfing, kite-flying, canoeing or sailing. Equally, there are also many opportunities for the less active visitor who loves spending time on the water.

The beach of IJmuiden aan Zee is easy to reach by car or public transportation. From Amsterdam Central Station you can jump on the Fast Flying Ferry (quay is located behind Central Station) which takes you to Velsen-Zuid within 30 minutes, where you can change to a bus to IJmuiden aan Zee. From the bus stop, it is only a one-minute walk to the beach.
