It is for this reason that Amsterdam International Fashion Week (AIFW) is somewhat more progressive than fashion weeks in other cities. During the AIFW, commerce and creativity are combined. In addition to the bustling catwalks, a multitude of fashion events, lectures, exhibitions, performances and parties will take place. The Amsterdam International Fashion Week takes place from January 25th till January 29th 2012.
