On September 5th (10:30-12:00), the first ever Amstel Swim will take place. A unique open water 3 km freestyle swimming event through World Heritage from Waternet HQ (Oude Ouderkerkerdijk) to Town Hall in Amsterdam. With this event, the Aquarius Foundation and participants from all over the World want to create attention for clean water. The water of the IJ and the Amsterdam canals is cleaner than ever and the port of Amsterdam is one of the cleanest harbours in the World.
