Amstel Bar & Brasserie is an informal, rather cosy spot for lunch, dinner or a late evening supper after the theatre. Cocktails are expertly poured at the wood-panelled bar, and unpretentious, brasserie-style selections are offered from a seasonal menu. A wall of windows overlooking the river showcases an unending parade of sailboats, water taxis, rowboats and typical Dutch sloepjes gliding past.
