FAQs

Below you will find answers to some frequently asked questions. If your question is not listed, e-mail the ACB or call: +31 (0) 20 551 2570.

1. What can the Amsterdam Convention Board do for me?

The Amsterdam Convention Board (ACB) is the all-in-one information resource for organizing meetings in Amsterdam and/or the surrounding areas. We can provide information on suitable locations and/or services, assist in the creation of a bid book, supply promotional material, arrange site inspections, offer creative ideas and more.

2. Do I have to pay for advice or information from the ACB?

No, the ACB is an independent and neutral organisation and we do not charge fees (with the exception of bulk orders). Our partners pay us a fixed amount on a yearly basis, which covers our expenses.

3. Do you have promotional material to distribute to my event participants?

Yes, we offer different products for event participants:

  • The "Amsterdam Courtesy Passport" (map included);

  • A business traveller's pocket-size map of Amsterdam, which includes English information on several districts;

  • The "MICEdition" newsletter, covering Amsterdam as a convention location.

  • Amsterdam at a glance

  • Posters and banners

  • Business film

You may order any of these via e-mail.

4. Does the ACB organise meetings?

No, we do not organise meetings. If you need help in organising a meeting or convention, you may request the assistance of a Professional Congress Organiser (PCO).

5. Can I check the availability of meeting/hotel rooms and/or make reservations through the ACB?

No, the ACB advises you to contact our partners directly to request availability of accommodations and meeting spaces.
