The Royal Boat Parade was a success. Since 21:30, the public ferries between Amsterdam Noord and Amsterdam Central Station have once again been operating their regular services. The ferry services between Central Station (CS) and Buiksloterweg, and also between CS and the IJ-plein were temporarily disrupted due to the Royal Boat Parade. The first waves of people are already on their way home.

All of the large dance events in the city are almost finished, apart from the King’s Day Festival at the Olympic Stadium. Partygoers are now beginning to return to their homes. At present this process is going smoothly. Dutch Railways (NS) is operating within its capacity.

At midnight, 100 employees of the municipal cleansing department will begin the process of cleaning the city. They will begin at Amsterdam Central Station and from there they will fan out across the city. The municipal cleansing department works 24 hours per day.
