The Van Gogh Museum houses the world's largest collection of works by Vincent van Gogh as well as major works by other 19th-century artists. Nowhere else in the world can you see so many of Van Gogh's paintings in one place. Here, you can follow the development of the artist's work through all its stages and compare it with paintings by other 19th-century painters in the collection. In addition, the museum offers a wide variety of temporary exhibitions on a large number of subjects from the history of 19th-century art.

Accessibility: the museum can be easily reached by public transport. There are two disabled parking spaces, one on the corner of Paulus Potterstraat and Van der Veldestraat, one on Paulus Potterstraat/Van Baerlestraat. The Van Gogh Museum is entirely accessible for wheelchair users. A separate entrance with lift is situated alongside the main Paulus Potterstraat entrance. All gallery halls are accessible by lift. There is a special emergency call service and disabled restrooms. There are also several wheelchairs available in the museum.
How to get there
Tram 2-5 stop Paulus Potterstraat, 3-12 stop Van Baerlestraat, 16 stop Museumplein. Bus 145-170-197 stop Hobbemastraat. Museumboat stop 3. Parking: underground car park Museumplein.
