The University of Amsterdam's Special Collections library offers students, researchers and other interested parties a wide range of research material. Through exhibitions, publications, lectures and presentations the significance of this cultural heritage for educational purposes and research is demonstrated.

The library contains a large number of interesting collections, such as the Library of the Book Trade, the Bibliotheca Rosenthaliana, old Amsterdam editions and cartography, church collections on Dutch protestantism and a collection on the university's history.

Opening hours
Open: Monday - Friday: 10.00-17.00 hours. Saturday - Sunday and public holidays: 13.00-17.00. Closed: January 1, April 30(Queensday), December 25, Whit Sunday.
Discounts and passes
Adults: 6,50 Children aged 4-16: 3,25
Other location details
The exposition hall is wheelchair-accessible and the location has two parking spaces for the disabled at the rear entrance.
