Formerly a squat, and a film academy before that, OT301 is a multi-media and alternative culture centre.
Squatted by a group of artists in 1999, it once housed the environmental group European Youth For Action and magazine The Green Pepper. These days it is home to concerts, parties, film nights, arts workshops and music studios, a non-profit print shop and vegan restaurant De Peper. In 2007, it received the Amsterdamprijs voor de Kunsten (Amsterdam Prize for the Arts) by Mayor Job Cohen.
