Odeon is situated in the heart of the Amsterdam ring of canals. The building was built to house a brewery in 1662 and became the first proper indoor concert venue in the city as early as 1830.
Since the end of the 20st century, Odeon was known as a disco and event hall. The monumental property had a complete overhaul. The classical elements were preserved and the interior is decorated in a modern and chic fashion. It also boasts a restaurant and cafe.
