Museum Willet-Holthuysen

View:
  • Herengracht 609
  • 1017 CE Amsterdam
The only fully-decorated Amsterdam canal house opened daily to the public. The last occupants were Abraham Willet (1825-1888) and his wife Louisa Holthuysen (1824-1895). Mrs. Willet-Holthuysen left the house and its contents, including a large art collection, to the city of Amsterdam, on the condition that it would be turned into a museum.
