Four restored synagogues in the heart of Amsterdam's former Jewish quarter now house the Jewish Historical Museum. Its central themes are the eventful history of the Jews in the Netherlands and their colourful culture.

Opening hours
Daily from 11.00-17:00. Closed on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.
Ticket information
Adults: 7.50; 65+, student card: 4.50; children under the age of 12: free. children aged 13-17: 3.00; members of a group (min. 10 people): 4.50; free for Friends of the JHM (upon display of a pass). Ticket sales also at the Amsterdams Uitburo: www.uitburo.nl, Ticketshop (Leidseplein 26/terrace side).
