Fantasio is known as the first pop stage in Amsterdam. Now it is a venue for lectures, CD presentations, master classes, special concerts, radio & TV recordings, meetings.
Fantasio was opened in 1968 and bands like Pink Floyd and Jefferson Airplane played here. With the establishment of the National Pop Institute in 1998 on the Prins Hendrikkade, Fantasio received its own stage.
