Amsterdam's ArenA is not only home to AFC Ajax (the city's football club), it is also an excellent conference and concert venue. Opened in 1996, the ArenA is one of only two stadiums in the Netherlands awarded five-star status by the UEFA and can hold just short of 52,000 spectators.
And when the crowds aren't supporting their team, they can sing along with their favourite artists as the ArenA regularly welcomes international performers to the stage. The museum runs a tour in English which takes you behind the scenes at the stadium and there's also a club shop and a bar.
