ACCESS is a non-profit organisation committed to supporting the international expatriate community in the Netherlands. Their English-speaking services include a multilingual helpline, courses and a counselling referral service.
Established from humble beginnings in 1986, ACCESS has grown to become a leading source of free, personalised English information for the international community in the Netherlands. ACCESS's central office in The Hague is staffed by an enthusiastic team of volunteers who have experienced the expat relocation process and are able to provide comprehensive information, advice and support.
ACCESS receives over 20,000 enquiries a year and is widely recognised as the primary source of free English information in the Netherlands. ACCESS is actively supported by local authorities and government ministries, and provides regular feedback to such bodies on the experiences and expectations of the international community.
ACCESS provides free information and advice in English via a helpdesk which can be reached by calling 0900 2222 377. Information about courses and events as well as links to the Counsellor on Call and Cancer Link are available on their website.
ACCESS's community education team offers a comprehensive programme of English language courses and workshops covering a range of topics that reflect the interests and experiences of the international community, the most popular of these being the Child Birth Education programmes.
