Information for employees

You can use the IND site to learn more about:

• The entry procedure for highly skilled migrants and labour migrants, in either English or Dutch.

• Organisations and companies who are allowed to participate in the special entry procedure for Highly Skilled Migrants.

How the Expatcenter can help you

After your employer has arranged a time and day for you at the Expatcenter desk, you can expect the following to be arranged at your appointment:

• Registration with municipal administration (GBA).

• Your public service number. This registration number will be used for your work, opening a bank account, for hospital visits, for example. You will need to request this yourself once you have registered with the municipality and it will be mailed to you after a few weeks.

• You will receive the residence documents requested by your employer.
