Mokumse Vrouwenloop
The fourth edition of the Mokumse Vrouwenloop (Amsterdam's Women's Run) took place at the Sloterplas in the Nieuw-West District of Amsterdam on Sunday 4 March 2012.
Looping the lake
Females of all fitness levels in the Amsterdam area are invited to take part in this Women's Run, held in the west of Amsterdam. Three separate courses are available for differing skill levels: 2.5 km, 5 km and 7.5 km.
The longest course features a picturesque loop of the Sloterplas, the lake at the heart of the park. Each race is set to finish on the running track of Sportpark Ookmeer, the home of athletics club AAC.
Accessible sport
As well as running, it is also possible to opt for a walking course. These courses were on offer in 2012:

Entrance to any of the competitions cost two euros. Sign up via sport club AAC (short form in Dutch).
