The Amsterdam Region Business Association (ORAM) will host the premiere of 'Great Expatations', a film based on expat experiences in Amsterdam, at their Spring Summit: Internationals on 1 June 2010. The Expatcenter is among the sponsors of the film.
ORAM's spring summit will include the screening of the film which will be introduced by Amsterdam mayor, Lodewijk Asscher, as well as a discussion on the importance of the international community in Amsterdam. The City of Amsterdam will present the results of their study on expatriates in the Amsterdam region.
ORAM will also introduce their new intiative: a foundation, with the aim of better integrating and connecting the international community in Amsterdam.
Filmmaker Kees Colenbrander, created the film 'Great Expatations' based on the personal experiences of expats in the Amsterdam area. The short film will be used by Amsterdam companies and organisations for hospitality trainings amongst other things.
