From 26 August to 17 September 2011, head to Amsterdam's Sloterplas to catch films outside on sultry Amsterdam evenings. And it's all free! For four weekends, the open-air cinema will be installed close to the Sloterparkbad swimming pool in Amsterdam Nieuw-West.
Grab a drink and a snack, sit back, relax and enjoy a range of classic and modern films on the huge screen. If mother nature refuses to play the game and rain clouds threaten proceedings, the show still goes on with films screened inside.
Grounds open at 20:00 and the main event kicks off at 21:00. Prior to the main film, shorts and films created by Film Academy graduates will be screened. Be warned: seats are limited so come along early to avoid disappointment.
