After a two-year hiatus, Robodock is back! Born in 1998, Robodock was created as a form of cultural self-defence and has grown into one of the most creative festivals in the world. It now rises from the ashes for a two-day outing on 23 and 24 September.

Billed as a hypnotic industrial fairytale, Robodock brings together technology, killer music, robotics, fire sculptures and a whole lot more in an industrial setting on Amsterdam's NDSM Wharf. This year's theme is the phoenix, representing the end of the old Robodock and a return to form in a somewhat compacter form.

As in previous years, the international DJ and music line-up certainly ticks all the boxes.

A highlight of this comeback edition is the unique special effects orchestra. A spectacle in itself, the orchestra features sirens, immense water cannons, fire organs and even flamethrowers!
